Pacy & Wheatley Join Mates In Mind
Posted on 14 February 2019
The Pacy & Wheatley Group are incredibly proud to have joined Mates in Mind – a registered charity who aim to raise awareness, address the stigma of poor mental health, and improve mental wellbeing in the UK construction industry. Launched in 2017, by 2025 the charity hopes to have reached 75% of the construction industry in the UK. By joining, we're playing our part in helping them achieve this goal.
A huge part of our company philosophy is looking after the health and wellbeing of our staff. Without such strong teams across all three divisions, we wouldn't be where we are today. We're always looking to give back to our staff in any way we can, and joining Mates in Mind will help provide support, and improve the mental health and wellbeing of all our staff. This initiative helps us take an important step towards breaking the silence and stigma surrounding mental wellbeing in society, and in the construction industry.
Mates in Mind is supported by other key players in health and wellbeing, such as the Health in Construction Leadership Group, and is supported by other mental health charities such as The British Safety Council and Mental Health First Aid. We're delighted to be part of such a great cause, and are proud to support all members of the Pacy & Wheatley teams, helping to improve the mental health and wellbeing within our company.
