Care Home Construction Wallasey

Pacy & Wheatley Construction's team of highly professional construction contractors designed and delivered a brand new £4.1m care home in Liverpool for nursing care and rehabilitation for adults provider Exemplar Health Care.
The Edgewater project at Wallasey, Merseyside, commenced in July 2021 and took just over one year to complete. The new care home provides luxury accommodation for 30 residents, featuring large individual bedrooms with en-suite facilities. This is supplemented by a plethora of communal spaces, including a therapy lounge, visitors' lounge, and dedicated dining spaces to deliver a safe and comfortable setting for first-class residential care.
With the care home construction taking place on a former brownfield site, Pacy & Wheatley Construction had to implement a strict remediation strategy to complete all necessary non-hazardous excavations, explosive ordnance disposals, and cut-and-fill responsibilities.
The project, which was the company's third job for Exemplar Health Care, also required a variety of safety regulation requirements as well as transparent communication with the neighbours throughout.
Having worked with Watson Batty Architects Ltd and Eastwood & Partners Ltd, Pacy & Wheatley Construction was able to hand the completed project over on time and within budget. All works were completed safely and promptly, resulting in a world-class care home facility that residents love.
The project has also helped create an additional 100 jobs in the area while it has already established itself as one of Exemplar Health Care's premier venues for adult health care services in the UK.
