Completed Development at Amersham
Posted on 29 May 2018
Pacy & Wheatley Construction are delighted to have recently completed construction on our prestigious development in the historic market town of Amersham. Located just outside London, Amersham is part of the London commuter belt. Our new development of 31 apartments is in the perfect location for workers commuting to the capital, just a short walk away from the main line and underground service leading directly into the heart of London.
Amersham is a thriving, historic town, with plenty of things to do and places to visit during the day, as well as a wide range of restaurants and bars providing plenty of nightlife. Our development, aimed at the young professional, was designed to blend in with the old buildings of the area, while using new construction practices. The new development also aims to increase the town's vibrancy, with a new Oakman restaurant, The Beech House. We have had some great support from the community in Amersham, who are hopeful the development will spark further regenerations in other parts of the town.
Both buildings of the original site – a large four-storey building and a smaller two-storey building – have been extensively remodelled and extended, for larger apartments with outside balcony areas. The existing site consisted of 17 apartments with an underground car park. The site now consists of 31 apartments, two ground floor retail spaces, an underground parking area and communal terrace space. The two retail spaces consist of a large, open plan restaurant The Beech House, and a shop for the UK's leading wine specialist, Majestic Wine.
We're incredibly proud of the completed project at Amersham. The modern, spacious design looks great in the interior and exterior spaces of the apartments, and we hope the development will increase the vitality of the town.
