Les Binns Reaches Summit

Big congratulations to one of Pacy & Wheatley's very own team members who has reached Everest summit!

Les Binns had tears of joy in his eyes after finally achieving his goal of summiting Mount Everest on his third attempt.

The Background Story

In 2016, his climb was stopped short as he chose to instead help a fellow climber and save her life. This was a very heroic decision and one he'll never forget. Then in 2017, he attempted the climb again but had to turn around due to poor weather conditions.

Reaching Everest in 2022

Just recently, Les returned to Mount Everest to attempt a climb for the third time. On May 13, 2022, Mr. Binns reached his goal of scaling Mount Everest and said it was one of the most physically and mentally exhausting things he's ever done. While it was a very draining experience, it also was a fairly smooth adventure and he's thrilled he did it. Pacy & Wheatley are extremely proud to share this news and are fully in support of one of our very own, taking on the challenge of Mount Everest once again.

This time around it was a deeply personal and ongoing quest to raise money for BLESMA. It's a charity dedicated to helping limbless service and ex-servicemen and women. Pacy & Wheatley are more than honored to have helped sponsor Les's journey to the top in 2022.

Mr. Binns also took along a banner for the charity Blesma, which had helped fund his trip. It was all made possible with donations from family, friends, and even strangers from around the world.

Currently, Les works within the interiors division and balances his time between home life, his job, and charity work, always striving to help as many people as possible.
