New Build Retail Units Doncaster

In collaboration with Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, this construction project from Pacy & Wheatley saw a pair of retail "pod" units completed in time for the festive season. Along with an exterior hardscaping project, the work was completed on time and budget despite several challenges.

This was a challenging job by any stretch of the imagination. The work was undertaken on a site adjacent to other construction work and needed to be done in a discreet way to ensure that safety and access could be guaranteed to the public and park staff members, as the park remained open throughout. Delays beyond our control also meant that the project faced a delayed start, which made the deadline an even more significant challenge.

Of course, excuses count for nothing in construction, so creative thinking was required, and the project's eventual successful completion was secured because Pacy & Wheatley's site team was prepared to work out of hours and on weekends. This flexibility ensured that work could be completed while not risking the safety of others and meant that the job was completed on time and within budget.
