Project Description
Pacy & Wheatley were pleased to have been appointed by our client to undertake this extensive care home refurbishment project at Sunnywell Care Home in Cudworth, South Yorkshire. This huge project involved the alterations, extension, conversion and refurbishment of the existing building to form a specialist accommodation for people with learning difficulties including associated external works. We were looking forward to working closely with the client and his team of professionals to deliver a first class facility of the new residents to enjoy.
The Challenge
Ensuring that site works are undertaken with no negative impact or disruption to the local residents and neighbours, while managing the challenging program of works, with multiple activities running concurrently. We worked closely with the design team to manage the necessary changes to the layouts, to ensure the end product met the needs of our clients planned end users.
The Solution

Key Achievements
An attractive fit out to both the new build and refurbishments elements that were sensitive to the original features of the home, while retaining and refurbishing both internal and external historic building details.
