Project Description
An extensive WOW Care Home refurbishment within Sherwood Lodge, Preston, for Barchester Healthcare. The project includes a WOW refurbishment across the existing 48-bed care home, including renovations to create a Hair Salon, TV Lounge and Café Lounge for the Residents of the Home. Our team also refreshed the Dining area, provided a new Spa Bathroom and refurbished 5 Bedrooms, forming new en-suite facilities to each.
The Challenge and Solution
The refurbishment included a large amount of plastering works, located within corridors which had a large amount of daily footfall, due to the Home remaining fully operational throughout our works. Pacy and Wheatley’s Site Management ensured, with the Home’s cooperation, the segregation of manageable areas for the programme to progress, with minimum disruption to the care facility.
